TEACHING

I have been giving one-to-one music tuition for over 7 years, including violin and piano teaching, music GCSE tuition, and music theory tuition. Over the past three years, I have taught piano, violin and music theory to a number of people, ranging from 6-year olds to adults, absolute beginners to advanced pupils.

I am delighted to include other genres of music and improvisation skills in my lessons if that is something the student is interested in.

While my I specialised in violin at the Academy , I was joint first study piano and violin for my final years at the RCMJD, I have excellent sight-reading skills, and I regularly do accompanying work – in winter 2019 I accompanied two postgraduate cellists studying at RAM in recitals, playing Beethoven’s Cello Sonata No.1, Martinu’s Slovak Variations, Piazzolla’s Le Grand Tango, and the Britten Cello Sonata; I have also worked as an accompanist for graded exams at the Richmond Music Trust. I am able to accompany my students during exams, pupil concerts, or during the lesson.

Lessons take place at my home or online. Contact me for more details!
